What can't go in my general waste skip?
Our general waste skip is designed to accommodate most household general waste items. However, please note that the following items cannot be disposed of in the general waste skip:
- Asbestos
- Car batteries
- Fridges
- Dangerous or hazardous waste (including flammable or explosive products)
- Dead animals
- Gas bottles
- Liquids
- Microwaves
- Monitors
- Paint
- Polystyrene
- TVs

How can I determine the arrival date of my skip bin?
When placing your skip bin order online, you have the flexibility to select your preferred delivery date from the available options.
The displayed dates reflect the current availability of skip bins at that time. This allows you to conveniently schedule the arrival of your skip bin according to your needs.
When you order a skip bin, it will be at your property for 5 days until our friendly team collects it.
How much room does the truck need to place the skip bin?
To accurately position a skip bin, our skip bin trucks need the following clearance:
- Width: A minimum of 3 meters.
- Height: At least 4.1 meters.
Ensuring this space allows for the safe and effective placement of the skip bin by our trucks.
Are there excess weight charges?
Our skip bin pricing includes the initial weight allowance, which may differ based on the skip size:
- For 3.0m, 4.5m, 6.0m and 9.0m skip bins, the first 1000kg of weight is included.
Should the weight surpass these limits:
- A supplemental fee, calculated by weight, will be applicable for any weight beyond the included amount.
- The specific rate for excess weight varies by location.
