As you may know, in Waitākere Auckland Council is transitioning to a rates-funded rubbish collection system using only Auckland Council supplied wheelie bins. However, we understand that the Council's service may not meet everyone’s needs.

Waitākere rates-funded Council services commence Monday December 2nd. At the same time, all new Econowaste services start on Monday December 2nd, so choose your option today!

Option 1: Keep your weekly rubbish service
Council bin too small? Continue enjoying the same reliable weekly collections with no disruptions or changes. We are also offering ONE MONTH'S FREE collections for this option.
Option 2: Pay-per-collection – Ecopay!
Need more flexibility? Pay only when you need an extra collection – perfect for busy holidays or extra waste and great pricing. Plus, your first two collections are FREE!
Option 3: Monthly garden waste collection
Convert your bin into a garden waste service for hassle-free monthly collections, helping keep your garden tidy year-round.

Pay-per-collection – EcoPay

Sign up for EcoPay, our most convenient, no-risk option, and pay only when you put your bin out. Our smart bins detect when they're collected and your preferred credit card is only charged when your bin is emptied.
